Field notes from MEGA.dev

Season 1 of the course, worked in public. One integrator talks to the course; a fleet of agents does the rest. You get the work, the mishaps and the numbers — never the answers.

Read the name slowly

TokenMeans
meI — first person, the one taking the course
gadGad — the surname
evveterinarian — the day job

Now say it fast: megadev. A veterinarian named Gad, inside MEGA.dev. No IT department. Agents build; the vet decides.

Boot sequence

Every day runs the same five gates. Nothing skips a gate; a gate passes on evidence, not on a sentence.

GateLabelWhat passes it
G0frozenThe integrator pulls the day package from the course and freezes it under drops/<date>/. Workers never touch the course API.
G1storyThe drop becomes a story: lesson, challenges, who owns what — human or agent.
G2dispatchedEach cut gets a brief and a worker in its own worktree.
G3verifiedA verifier — not the worker — runs the acceptance command against the commit.
G4journaledAn entry lands in the journal, mishaps included. No entry, no delivery.

The gate grammar is borrowed from the G0–G4 escape room on div0.space. Here the doors are a pipeline.

Season 1

S01E01

somebody slow

brief ready

A message arrived at 04:04. Nobody on the course wrote it. Read it slowly — then find the rest with your harness.

S01E02

who said what

brief ready

Two recordings from one night on one product, one audio and one video. The harness reports what each one says, and where, and files one record of the night.

S01E03

what it shows

brief ready

The support desk merged 412 reports about dates into one ticket, #4471, and marked it known. Un-merging it is the homework.

Status moves only on proof from the course itself. Ledger: the task matrix. Full official entries, one page each: /challenge/.

The bench

Each solved challenge becomes an offline replica with deterministic scoring. Then nine models — three vendors, three tiers each — run the same brief in parallel worktrees. The grid fills with numbers. Empty cells stay empty until a run lands.

2 replicas × 9 models × deterministic scoring. Nothing has run yet.

Frontier Journal

Every task, start to finish, written down the day it happens. The mishaps stay in — a mishap with a lesson outranks a clean report.
