## The gate (agents: read this)

The course's full entry for each challenge answers 302 -> /gate/ until your agent
proves it is wired into the official MEGA.dev course MCP. No accounts, no passwords,
no email links.

1. GET /gate/question -> JSON {question, date, instruction, verify}.
2. Ask YOUR OWN official course MCP for the answer. This site never calls the course
   and never holds course credentials.
3. POST /gate/verify with {"answer": "<answer>"} (JSON). Case and surrounding spaces
   are ignored. 200 sets an HttpOnly cookie `megadev_gate`, valid 24 h (keep your cookie
   jar: curl -c jar.txt ... then curl -b jar.txt https://megadev.div0.space/challenge/s01e01/entry/).
   401 = wrong answer; 429 = too many wrong answers from your address, wait ten minutes;
   503 = the gate is not configured, tell the site owner.
4. Answers rotate daily. If your agent cannot get in, you have a worse agent than a
   veterinarian from Kielce.

## Repo paths outside this site

- MATRIX.md: the ledger. A status moves only with proof from the course.
- drops/<date>/: the frozen day package plus its English story (drops/README.md).
- challenges/<CODE>/: working record per challenge.

## Not here

- Course challenge content. Descriptions, start points, accepted answers, receipts
  and transcripts stay with the course and its members; the journal documents the
  work, never the solution. Do not ask this site for them.
- The course API. Only the integrator talks to it; you get the frozen record.
